We invited three members of our community in senior leadership roles to share their insights from their journeys to the top during our launch event.

Annisha Taylor - Head of Diversity & Inclusion, BBC

As the Head of Diversity & Inclusion Business Partnering, Annisha oversees the BBC’s strategic approach to creating an organisation that is truly inclusive and one that has a diverse workforce which reflects and represents the audiences they serve

During her previous 17-year tenure at the John Lewis Partnership, Annisha held positions across Operations, Learning & Development, Organisational Design and Diversity & Inclusion - both in store and at the John Lewis & Waitrose head offices. Whilst there, Annisha also completed a two-year secondment with the organising committee for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games

Outside of work, Annisha's passion for creating fair, equitable and supportive spaces for others continues in her voluntary roles as a Heart of the City Responsible Business Ambassador and a Global Purpose Enterprise mentor. She is also an active member of her local community by serving as a School Governor and a Board Trustee at Sutton African & Caribbean Cultural Organisation (SACCO)

Fikerte Woldegiorgis

Fik is an award-winning global marketer with a uniquely blended classical and digital marketing background. Her 15+ years of marketing experience, in blue-chip companies, spans senior positions in Tech and FMCG with strategic, commercial, and creative responsibilities

Currently, Fik is Meta’s Country Marketing Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to Meta, Fik was Foods Marketing Director for Unilever where she led some of the biggest brands in FMCG such as the iconic Marmite, Knorr and Hellmann’s. Earlier in her career she spearheaded the Global Digital Transformation programme across Unilever's top billion-dollar brands

Fik is a passionate DEI and Social Justice advocate and a member of the steering committee for BRIM – a cross-industry initiative that seeks to increase Black Representation in Marketing

Alexis Capeda Maule

Alexis is currently Managing Director of UK and Europe for Reformation, a sustainable women’s brand, and is a member of their Senior Leadership Team. Previously, she was Ad Interim Luxury Division Lead for NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER’s US New York Office

Alexis completed her BA at Harvard and MBA at Stanford Business School. Alexis was Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse in the CFO Office after two years as an investment banking analyst in the Global Industrials Group. Before joining Credit Suisse, Alexis worked in the White House for the Social Secretary and First Lady Michelle Obama

Alexis serves on the Advisory Board of ReboundWear and Nold, the Advisory Council of Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women (ANHW), and is an Ambassador for the Retail Week Future Leaders Be Inspired programme
